Good cleaning and maintenance can not only extend the service life of landscape lights, but also maintain their good lighting effects and beautiful appearance, creating a comfortable and safe night environment.

1. Clean the surface of lamps regularly
1. Cleaning frequency
Depending on the installation environment of the lamps, the recommended cleaning frequency is as follows:

General environment (such as urban green space, park): clean once every 1-2 months.

Highly polluted areas (such as near roads, industrial areas, construction areas): It is recommended to clean once a month or even every two weeks.

Rainy or dusty seasons: Increase the cleaning frequency appropriately to prevent dust, mud and water from adhering for a long time, causing the surface to turn yellow or reduce light transmittance.

2. Cleaning methods and precautions

Glass lampshade:

Use a soft brush or dust cloth to dry wipe off the floating dust first.

Use a soft cloth dipped in a small amount of neutral detergent solution to gently wipe the lampshade, and then wipe it again with clean water after cleaning to prevent residual detergent from corroding the surface.

Finally, wipe it thoroughly with a clean dry cloth to prevent water stains from forming scale.

Be careful not to use too much force to avoid scratching the surface or damaging the seal.

Plastic lampshade:

Wipe gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth.

It is forbidden to use organic solvents such as alcohol, acetone, ammonia, etc. to avoid aging, yellowing or surface cracking of the material.

You can check the lampshade regularly for signs of fine cracks or aging and replace it in time.

Other materials (such as acrylic, stainless steel decorative covers, etc.):

Select special cleaning agents according to the characteristics of the material. If necessary, you can first try to wipe a small area, and then clean it thoroughly after confirming that it is not damaged.

It is forbidden to use a cleaning cloth containing frosted particles on the acrylic cover to avoid scratches.

2. Cleaning the lamp pole and lamp bracket

1. Cleaning frequency

Normal environment: Clean once every 3-4 months.

Highly corrosive environment (such as coastal areas, high humidity areas, heavily polluted industrial areas): It is recommended to check once every 1-2 months and increase the cleaning frequency appropriately to prevent corrosion and rust.

2. Cleaning methods and suggestions

Use a soft towel or brush to remove dust and dirt on the surface.

For stubborn stains, use diluted neutral detergent or environmentally friendly cleaning agent, and avoid using chemical solutions with strong acidity or alkalinity to avoid corrosion of metal or paint.

After cleaning, use a dry cloth to wipe the lamp pole and bracket dry to prevent rust due to residual moisture.

At the same time, check whether there is water accumulation or serious dust accumulation at the bottom of the lamp pole, and clear the drainage holes in time to avoid electrical safety hazards caused by water accumulation.

3. Anti-corrosion treatment suggestions

When cleaning, check whether there is paint peeling, rust spots or corrosion spots. If so, immediately apply anti-rust paint or make anti-corrosion repairs.

It is recommended to regularly perform anti-corrosion spray maintenance in coastal and industrial areas to extend the service life.
